THE RED MOON MACABRE “DANSE THE PLAGUE“

The Red Moon Macabre “Danse The Plague“ is the tenth studio release and the first for 2024. I decided to resurrect some of my music ideas from the late Eighties and early Nineties for this recording. The title track “Danse the Plague“ is tale of the danse macabre. With mentions of the Greek Goddess Hekate and the Black Death. It was written in 1991 and is a Gothic Rock improvisation. I sing my original lyrics and a poem by Charles Baudelaire “The Vampire“. I recreate what I once recorded back then now long lost. Music and Recording by Renzo Tellez Danse Macabre Hecate’s Red Moon The Dance Of Death Danse The Plague Through The Decaying Forest Bubonic World Of Strife Hat And Plague Mask The Doctor Of Death Danse The Plague The Sadness Of The Moon The Mercenary Muse Madness In The Dark Rooms Dance The Plague Rotten Flesh Face Smiling Dance The Plague Bring Out Your Dead And Danse The Plague Charles Baudelaire “The Vampire“ Thou Who Abruptly As A Knife Didst Come Into My Heart, Thou Who A Demon Horde Into My Life Didst Enter, Wildly Dancing Through The Doorways Of My Sense Unlatched To Make My Spirits Thy Domain Harlot To Whom I am Attached As Convicts To The Ball And Chain As Gamblers To The Wheel’s Bright Spell As Drunkards To Their Raging Thirst As corpses To Their Worms Accurst Be Thou!
