No titles. Al Bowlly. Item starts with a short clip of Al Bowlly playing guitar when he was a member of the Roy Fox Orchestra at the Monseigneur Club (see PT 124 and Turns Can 11 A). Voice over describes how Al achieved success in America and that he has been persuaded to sing for Pathe while on holiday in Britain. Pathe Studio, London. Al Bowlly stands before a microphone and, accompanied on piano, sings ’Melancholy Baby’. He is wearing a smart suit (not evening dress). Note: there is a slight shudder on this print.
