It’s the hardest video I’ve made to date, and I was afraid to hit publish out of shame/embarrassment and a fear of the response. I filmed it at the start of February 2023, exactly 6 months after starting work as a doctor - and more than 2 months later I’ve finally decided to post it in the hopes that it might be helpful to at least one person out there - medical student, fellow junior doctor, or anyone else. I’ve tried to give a balanced account of my personal experience - both the good and the not-so-good.
