The Last Recorded Words of David Koresh April 16 & 18, 1993

This recording was produced and narrated by Dr. James D. Tabor in 1995 based on live FBI negation tapes now in the public domain. In the recording you will hear the final words of David Koresh, mentioning both Dr. Philip Arnold and Dr. James Tabor, and his ongoing project to write his Seven Seal manuscript and his negotiated plan to surrender and peacefully come out of the Mt Carmel center with his religious community. It is chilling to hear given the optimism and positive attitudes of both Koresh and the FBI negotiator on April 16th, just three days before the unexpected FBI tank and CS-Gas attack on April 19th in which Koresh and his Branch Davidian community perished in the fire (Men 41; Women 46; Children 43, final death count along with four BATF officers). The final exchange comes on April 18th, with negotiator “Henry,“ the day before the assault, around 2pm. Here you will hear the last recorded words of David Koresh as he realized his agreement would not be honored. The entire tragedy was completely unnecessary--from initial dynamic entry SWAT team raid on February 28th to the CS Gas attach on April 19th--and the resulting fire. For the full back story see Tabor’s book, Why Waco ( ) and this recent interview on Youtube with Jacob Berman releasing new evidence Koresh was not bluffing in his plan to exit:
