EXCLUSIVE: Unreleased Tracks, Test Drive Unlimited: Public Beta Vol. 1.0 for PS2

0:00 “New Kick“ (later called “Menu Jazz“ in the final game, but never actually used) 5:57 “Lutha Bass“ 12:24 “Jungle“ 19:04 “Peyote“ 23:39 “Rough Piano“ 27:35 “Roller“ (yes, that break/glitch sound at the beginning is original) 32:21 “Step On It“ 38:05 “Hamakua Kisses“ (this name was re-used for a different track in the final game) 45:28 “Dancebiz“ 51:32 “Dancesyn“ (bassline sounds very similar to final version of “Hamakua Kisses“, but it’s actually a different song, I promise!) Artists: Gavin and Marshall Parker for Melbourne House, 2005-2006 Some of these songs might sound kind of unfinished, and that’s because a lot of them are. This is due to the fact that these songs (or these versions, anyway) only appeared in Atari’s “Test Drive Unlimited Public Beta Vol. 1.0“ for PS2. I will upload another video showcasing the other original tracks from this beta version of the game, which are slightly different than the final versions. Some tracks in this video might sound very similar to songs in the final version of the game, but in reality, all of the songs in this video never actually made it to the production version of the game, and I can confirm this after matching other tracks on this beta version to the final version. Some tracks that were never released sound very similar to other tracks, often sharing melodies and bass patterns, but they are not the same. This driving footage is the built-in AI driving randomly around Oahu on TDU for PSP using PPSSPP. You might be wondering how I was able to hide the Map, MasterPoints, and Speedometer... well, that’s for another video, for another day. ;) Many thanks to father Marshall and son Gavin Parker, of Melbourne, Australia, for putting together the amazing soundtrack that lives on in every copy of Test Drive Unlimited produced by Melbourne House (now Krome Studios). Your music touched many lives. It would be an honor if you acknowledged my findings of these songs! I’m really looking forward to Test Drive Unlimited: Solar Crown, and I can’t wait to cruise with you! Aloha!
