JOHN COLTRANE (A giant step for jazz kind) Jazz History #56

It’s hard to fathom that John Coltrane’s recorded output as a leader spans only about a decade, during which time he was transcendent. Words cannot adequately describe Trane’s impact which continues to to be felt more than five decades after his passing. Every jazz musician since treads with reverence in his giant footsteps. This video is part one of a two-part tribute to a true giant.
