“Song For Sir Paul” is a thank-you musical love letter to McCartney and his work for making the world a happier and more positive place. It was produced by Jack Petruzzelli (The Fab Faux, Joan Osborne), who also played guitars and keyboards. Eric Nicolas wrote it and recorded vocal, guitars and bass tracks at his home in Watch Hill, RI; at his studio in New York City; at The Abbatoir Of Good Taste in Whitstable, Kent, England, with vocalist/daughter Penelope Nicolas, under the direction of visionary provocateur, musician and culture guru David Barratt; and with Rob Taube at his Groove Garden in the East Village. Doug Yowell created and played the drum track at his home studio, and Gary Schreiner played piano and chromatic harmonica at his; Justin Guip mixed and Chris Muth (Taloowa Corp.) mastered. Filmmaker Chris Walsh, of Chris Walsh Productions, produced and edited the video with footage provided by Eric and his family. And Oliver the dog provided essential emotional support.
