Lia, Lucy, & Loni: Pikes Peak 2023 Recap - Tesla Model S Plaid, Hoonipigasus, Rivian R1T & Acura

#LiaBlock #PPIHC2023 #PikesPeak #BlockHouseRacing #Tribute #KB43ver #TheClimbContinues Lia Block, Lucy Block, and Loni Unser were all about family legacy today at the 101st Pikes Peak International Hill Climb. In the Hoonipigasus, Lia Block honored her father Ken Block in an untimed run in the race to the clouds. She drove beautifully in the 1,400 hp pink pig. Her mother Lucy Block crushed it in the unlimited class in her #430 2024 Sierra Echo EV hypercraft up the mountain. Loni Unser did not so bad herself in the 2024 Acura Integra Type S, completing Chiaki’s Journey. The world’s fastest pastor returned in his 2016 Axel Riley Ave LMP sporting #25 and completed the race. Old Smokey, unfortunately, did not. Poor Scott Birdsall. Gardner Nichols raced the #21 2022 Rivian R1T and posted an impressive time, and Randy Pobst, driving the #42 2021 Tesla Model S Plaid, finished with an under 10 minute time.
