Already, the affects are being felt along i80 as truckers and travelers attempt to make their way across the state for the Holiday season. Semi’s are sliding off of the slick roadways and others are coming to a crawl while blinding conditions take hold of interstate 80 as plows struggle to keep up with the intense snowfall rates. Meanwhile, other trucks aren’t taking any chances as dozens begin to park their trucks at rest areas and truck stops until the storm passes. These areas could see over a foot of snow and 50mph winds before the storm pushes out of the area Christmas evening
