► TOOLS & MATERIALS : ► PATTERN: How to Make a Vintage Laced Leather Bag :) A few months back we took apart and replicated a vintage laced leather bag, promising we’d get a pattern made up and released. It’s finally here! And because we took so long, we made the bag in two sizes - the original, larger size, and a smaller more modern size. These laced leather bags were super popular in the 60’s and 70’s, being sold as leathercraft kits from many different companies. The leather bags are laced together with leather lace, not stitching, and look super, super cool. Try a medium brown pull up leather like Buckleguy’s Tortoise tannage for that vintage feel right off the workbench!
