Arthur Prince (1934)

No titles; introduction has been cut. Probably London, Pathe Studio. Various shots of ventriloquist Arthur Prince and his puppet (usually known as ’Jim’) in a routine about a sailor (’Jim’) being reprimanded by a Naval officer (Prince). Prince has a cigar in his mouth for most of the act. Note: I find this act quite sinister, for reasons I can’t quite explain! Main story is followed by an unidentified comedian on a stage introducing (01:16:44 - 01:17:32), Charlie Kunz of the Casani Club - this act does not follow, or even belong to this issue, so perhaps this section is taken from a later compilation.
