J. S. Bach arr. John King: Cello Suite No. 1, BWV 1007 - I. Prelude (for ukulele)

I hope you like it... Kevin Loh (11) J.S. Bach probably composed the beautiful violoncello suites during his years as capellmeister in Cothen. THis is profound, inspired music by one of the divinities of music; that it can be played convecigly on the ukulele is indeed fortunate. The famous prelude was most recently used as thye theme music for thye cello playing sergeon, Stephen Marturin, in the film Master and Commander. The left hand fingering has been thoroughly worked out in this arrangmement to allow for effective use of the campanella technique. John King.
