How To Play Conga De Comparsa on Congas + Exercise

I speak briefly about her in this video, so if you want to skip that portion, please go to 5:31 In this video I show a very simple variation of Conga de Comparsa that you can try on 1, 2, or 3 congas. I also show how you can add a little more special sauce to that variation by using a simple exercise. *CORRECTION* I didn’t notice until now that the clave portion didn’t line up well. BUT The last 2 hits of the clave come RIGHT AFTER the last hit on the tumba to my dominant side. I Apologize for this error. Can’t edit it out, but the count should help guide you in the clave.
