Dog with huge laceration of head saved by surgery…

This girl’s scalp skin was completely torn, and blood covered her face. She was terrified and traumatized and somehow had the energy to resist being picked up, so we used a net. But after that moment, she was completely docile. A large flap of skin hung to the side of half her head, but luckily, that flap was intact and the tissue did have blood circulation, so stitching was successful. And her jaw knit back together on its own. We named her Shyla. Her scar shows what a fighter she is, but Shyla’s only fight was for her life, and for everyone else, human and animal, she’s the most peaceful little girl. Spayed and strong, meet Shyla now!
