The Black Belles-In A Cage

Bio By She Rox All Female Bands: The Black Belles began in 2009, based out of Nashville,Tennessee they released several singles by 2010 and quickly began building a fan base for their eclectic brand of Garage rock with goth style influences. With original bassist and founder Erin Belle, Shelby Lynne was the bands original keyboardist, and Ruby Rogers originally on drums, the band’s line up would completely change with the departure of bassist Erin Belle, Shelby Lynn would switch to drums and then drummer Ruby Rogers took over on bass, and “Lil Boo“ (Christina Norwood) was brought in as keyboardist. By 2011 The Belles released their debut self titled album now signed to Jack White’s, Third Man Records, the album was a strong effort and saw the band touring as well as in Europe, however line-up changes would follow the band as well, with Lil Boo being replaced Tina NoGood on keyboards, who would leave the band after their European tour, now leaving the Belles as a trio, they continued on and even saw lead vocalist and guitarist and now the band’s keyboardist as well, release a solo album.
