► Koishikawa Korakuen is the third of my 3 favorite gardens of Tokyo. (the other two being Kiyosumi & Rikugien) It’s located nearby Suidobashi St. (JR Line) or Korakuen St. (Metro) It’s quite nice, with lots of variety in the landscape. Construction of the garden started in 1629 by Tokugawa Yorifusa, and it is one of only two surviving Edo period gardens in modern Tokyo.
