The Dancehall: A Fusion of Irish Fashion, Design, Music and Dance

Audience members were stunned by The Dancehall on the opening day of Showcase 2023. A joyful and exuberant fusion of Irish fashion and design, music and dance, it was devised by esteemed creative consultant and stylist Aisling Farinella. The Dancehall is a modern presentation of the Irish fashion and design to be found at Showcase featuring a diverse cast of models, a soundtrack of modern Irish music and a performance by contemporary dancer Robyn Byrne. Farinella’s styling was inspired by Irish dancehall - the culture of which dates back to the 1800s.
