Cotton Club Singers - 4 Gengszter (Live, 1997, LaRCS, by DcsabaS)
The “Négy gengszter“ (1986) is musically based on Jimmy Giuffre’s jazz standard “Four Brothers“ (1947), and it is the supporting song for the Hungarian cartoon “Macskafogó“ (1986, Béla Ternovszky), which is about 4 hitman cats (to murder mouses).
The song was performed by the Cotton Club Singers (excellent Hungarian jazz quartett, 1994-2009) in Budapest, Hungary (1997). The singers from left: Boldizsár László, Adrienn Zsédenyi (Zséda, solo artist from 2002), Gabriella Szűcs, Péter Kovács (in the cartoon), and Fehér Gábor (live performance).
The animation o the right side is from the cartoon “Macskafogó“.
