Typhoon Doksuri in China! The whole world is praying for people! God save Fujian province!

The typhoon hit coastal Jinjiang county in Fujian province at 9:55 a.m. local time, the National Meteorological Center said. Heavy rain is expected in most of the country’s southeastern provinces for most of Friday, with rainfall forecast to reach 11 inches (27 centimeters) in some parts of the region. The Joint Typhoon Warning Center said wind speeds were approaching 175 kilometers per hour (108 miles per hour) during landfall, but the storm’s interaction with land likely reduced wind speeds slightly. Neighboring Taiwan is still facing heavy rains due to the storm, but the island’s weather agency lifted a maximum rainfall warning Friday morning. Doksuri swept through the Philippines’ most populous island of Luzon earlier in the week, with the north of the archipelago hit hardest by the storm. The coast guard said at least 26 people were killed when the boat capsized just meters off Talim Island, southeast of the capital Manila, on Thursday afternoon. The Coast Guard said at least 66 people were on board the boat, which had a capacity for only 42 people.
