Destruction of UAV Control Point by Self-Propelled Artillery Unit The crew of the 2S44 “Giatsint-K“ self-propelled artillery unit from the artillery formation of the 8th Combined Arms Army, part of the “Center“ group of troops, destroyed a camouflaged UAV control point of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Krasnoarmeysk direction. The firing position, hidden within a tree line, was part of the enemy’s fortified area that hindered the advance of Russian assault troops. The precise coordinates of the target were transmitted from a reconnaissance drone operator to the artillery crew’s firing position. The servicemen quickly moved to the firing position, deployed the unit from travel mode to combat mode, and using an automated fire control system, executed a series of accurate shots with 152-mm shells from a distance of over 30 kilometers.
