Women’s Camera (1971) dir. Barbara Kasper, Ingrid Oppermann, Tamara Wyss, Gardi Deppe, Brigitte Krause

This film, which was created as part of an introductory class at the German Film and Television Academy Berlin (DFFB), explains how to set up and use a camera, and thus puts into practice what the students have just learnt. But it is also an act of empowerment: the five female students want to share this technical knowledge and make it useful for their own political and emancipatory struggle.
