How I Fixed My Broken Sony MDR 1000X Headphones (DIY Custom Headphones Headband)

Hi Everyone, So, the headband just cracked. I’ve looked online for replacement parts but couldn’t find any. However, what I found was many, many, many people with the same problem. More than this, Sony charged a lot of money for the repair, something like 220 euros, which is absurd for a piece of plastic. Even worse than that, the repaired headphones had the same problem. This was clearly a design issue and an obscene lack of testing of a premium product from such a big company. Even if Sony repaired the headphones for free, I didn’t want to lose my time going to their service center and argue with their employees. So I’ve decided to take the matter in my own hands. I didn’t want to do a dodgy repair with glue or resin or Sugru, because it would have ruined the look and it would have given me sleepless nights.
