Channy Leaneagh of Polica paid tribute to the 60’s pop icon Lesley Gore by covering her hit song “You Don’t Own Me“ live at JBTV Studios in Chicago. Not only do Channy and her live band cover the song, which served as a big pop culture inspiration during the second feminist movement, but Polica has also included a studio recording of their rendition of the song in their latest release of the deluxe version of Shulamith (Mom Pop Music).
