Life And Death On The Streets of Chicago | Full Documentary | TRACKS

Against the backdrop of unprecedented gun violence, Reggie Yates travels to Chicago to investigate gun crime in President Obama’s adopted hometown. In 2015, there were 468 murders, and the murder rate has increased by 72%. Who is to blame when many of the victims are young African-American men? Reggie learns firsthand about police brutality, but after witnessing the aftermath of a gunshot and the funeral of a young black guy, he realises that the majority of homicides are committed by young black males who live in Chicago’s poorest neighbourhoods.
