Each set has four songs outlining the same theme. Merry Xmas! I think this song is the most fitting Christmas carol for this year. It’s based on the Ukrainian folk song “Shchedryk“. Ukrainian composer Mykola Leontovych made many arrangements for this song. It was first performed in Kyiv in 1916, then introduced to European listeners in the following years, and premiered in the United States in 1922. For this quick video I decided to go with the orchestral version (which I quickly remixed and remastered), but if you you’d like to hear the heavier version, the video with the best Grinch ever is still on my channel😉 May this holiday season bring peace to us all!
