#flooding #china #guangxi On June 19th, 2024, it was reported that Guangxi has recently been hit by heavy rainfall, leading to severe urban flooding in several areas. The downpour has primarily affected the cities of Guilin, Hezhou, and Liuzhou, with average rainfall amounts recorded at 323.7 mm, 249.8 mm, and 210.4 mm, respectively. In Guilin, particularly in the counties of Xing’an, Yongfu, and Lingchuan, extreme rainfall events were frequent.
