Revealing the Secrets to the 8-Week Summer Showdown Challenge
Every year leading into summer, my training program undergoes a major transformation to prepare for the 8-Week Summer Showdown! 🌞
In this video, I break down the entire program on the whiteboard, detailing the shift from high-intensity CrossFit to a focus on bodybuilding, conditioning, and recovery. We’ll strip down the training to target accessory work, build strength, and address any injuries or aches and pains. By the end of the summer, you’ll be ready to jump back into intense training!
Here’s a sneak peek at the split:
Monday: Chest, Back, Arms Track Conditioning (short, explosive intervals)
Tuesday: Legs, Core Short Metcon
Wednesday: Shoulders, Arms Recovery Cardio (long, slow pace)
Thursday: Core Focus Long Conditioning (Interval Weight Training)
Friday: Legs High Volume Strength Longer Metcon
Saturday: Total Body Track Conditioning (longer intervals)
