İztuzu Beach is one of the most beautiful Mediterranean beaches with a 4.5 km long located near Dalyan, in the Ortaca district of the Province of Muğla. İztuzu beach is one of the rare beaches, which forms a natural barrier between the fresh water and sea water. It is one of the main breeding grounds for loggerhead sea turtles (Caretta Caretta) in the Mediterranean and therefore is called as ‘Turtle Beach’.
