PEARLY KINGS AND QUEENS SUPPORT LORD MAYOR’S BOW BELLS APPEAL. St. Mary-le-Bow, London. SCU. A group of Pearly Kings and Queens standing and talking after having a ride to the Church of St. Mary-le -Bow. SV. Towards and past, single horse and trap arriving. Two Pearly Kings one woman and a child are sitting in the trap. As they go, they pass a sign reading “The Lord Mayor appeals to you to get Bow bells ringing again to give what you can here or send it to the Mansion House.“ SV. Past horse drawn dray full of Pearly people arriving. SCU. Old man talking to woman outside the church. She is holding a small boy all dressed in Pearly clothes. CU. Three girls with all the fine feathers in their hats. SCU. Two Pearly men. One whispers something into the ear of the other. LV. Parade headed by the vicar, Reverend Hugh Hopkins, Rector of St. Mary le Bow, enters the chapel. SV. More Pearlies entering the chapel, pan to the doorway showing them going in. SV.
