NJPW G1 Climax 32 Night 1 Review #G1Climax32 #g132 #njpw The 2022 edition of the G1 Climax from New Japan Pro-Wrestling kicked off with the faces of each block taking on some stiff competition on night one. Block A featured a rematch of last year’s almost undefeated pair as Kazuchika Okada took on Jeff Cobb. Will Ospreay and El Phantasmo renewed their junior heavyweight rivalry, now two totally different competitors, in the D Block outing. SANADA and Jay White clashed in the B Block where even though SANADA took a while to get going, he nearly beat the self-professed “catalyst“ of pro-wrestling. And in the upset of the night, Aaron Henare is the latest undercard wrestler to score a big win over “The Ace“ of New Japan and the face of the C Block, Hiroshi Tanahashi.
