We meet Anatoly Dyatlov, portrayed by Paul Ritter, who was the man in chief that night. , HBO miniseries tells us what happened next and how Boris Shcherbina, played by Stellan Skarsgard, and Valery Legasov, played by Jared Harris tried to fix the consequences of the reactor 4 Chernobyl explosion. The writer Craig Mazin also invented the character Ulyana Khomyuk, that presented the views of dozens scientists, who helped to deal with the chernobyl nuclear disaster in real life. Khomyuk is played by the wonderful Emily Watson.
