Snail - Childhood Dreams

Snail was a Rock band formed originally by Bob O’Neill and Ron Fillmore along with Dave Kibler in 1967. They were a Cream styled power trio. Snail played the club circuit in the San Francisco bay area till the mid 80’s. In 78 & 79 Snail released two albums “Snail” and the “Flow” albums with considerable success. Snail performed on “American Bandstand“ with their signature song “The Joker“ and was the opening act for Styx on a nationwide tour in 1980. Just a step away from the big break they deservedly earned. Bob O’Neill always wanted to revive Snail. So in the spring of 2009 this became a reality. So Bob O’Neill and Ron Fillmore along with bassist Guido Valverde started rehearsing and by that summer were hitting the stages again. Now with addition of Jim Hampton on guitar and vocals. “The Original Snail“ perfom Bob O’Neill’s original music along with the old Snail hits and new Original Snail tunes mixed with vintage 60/70’s rock/blues hits. We are veteran musicians and the “Real Deal“ you won’t be let down!
