For PlayStation 5, one of Sony’s key principals this time around was keeping the system properly cooled and quiet during operation. Even under some of the most intensive games, they’re hoping the console won’t be as loud as PS4. Today, we test PS5 against all the PS4 models, the Xbox Series X, and even a modified 60GB PS3 (that one was more for me to check out). With Sony’s liquid metal, massive heatsink, and set power budget, the commitment is certainly there.
