Happy birthday to my beloved friend Andréa aka @QuebecQueen on YouTube who celebrated her birthday on October 28th and who is as much of a fan of Charlotte as I am. As usual birthdays are a perfect pretext for me to edit characters or ship that the receiver & I both love, as my motivation upgrades as soon as I have to make a little something for a friend on special occasions. Rewatching Harlots all over again very recently also helped to my peak of motivation to finish this project. I hope you like your gift and I’ll be raising my glass to another healthy year full of wonders and success for you! Ring was the ideal song to edit Charlotte to, and I love how it illustrates the double-faced relationship she has with people around her, which the “true colours“ face only shows to her closest ones, unlike her fake smiles and sparkly eyes that are only headed over culls, bullies and potential keepers as part of her job or interests. I still wish she didn’t die but at least she’s one of the few characters that has a real closure, considering the “unfinished“ taste that the show left me with when it got cancelled. Anyway, I’ve never been more uncertain about my activity on this channel in the months to come, so enjoy this one. Sorry about the glitches in the corners, they weren’t part of the effects but they just decided to stay here no matter how many times I rendered this video.
