Large transport infrastructure projects in the EU

In 10 years up to 2021, rail’s share of total freight transport decreased in 16% of EU member states, while road freight increased 1.7%. Without reversing the neoliberal approach and seeing rail as a public asset, we won’t see the transfers from road to rail we need to cut emissions.
