Fly Tying - Butcher variant

materials: size 8, 6 gap wet fly hook (i stripped a bunch of old flies ive tied / bought that were awfully tied) i used red sheer 14/0 thread mostly because i’m running out of black tail from red rooster hackle fibers, its supposed to be some bird called ibis but i don’t have any of that body from silver tinsel, smaller tinsel would work better throat from fluffy feather from rooster cape OR from hen soft hackle wing from mallard wing feather, you could get a greenish hue one from magpie / rooster tail feather, i think first time tying this pattern music from youtube audio library
