Led Zeppelin - Live in Ipswich, UK (Nov. 16th, 1971) - UPGRADE/BEST SOUND

Here is an upgrade a friend of mine put together of the band’s show in Ipswich during their Fall/Winter 1971 UK tour. This is a merge of three different audience recordings, with the main one being exceptionally clear and well balanced albeit with a bit of hiss. The performance is exceptional, one of the best of the tour, with Plant especially in pretty decent shape (even more so when you consider that he was suffering from the flu around this time). Fun fact: this show was performed at the St. Matthew’s Baths Hall, an arena that housed a swimming pool that was drained and covered up by a wooden support structure, which Plant references a few times during the show. Special thanks to my friend (who wishes to remain anonymous) for putting this merge together, to Bert for revising the merge, and to Mysterii for the thumbnail! 0:00 Intro 1:01 Immigrant Song 4:48 Heartbreaker 12:52 Black Dog 19:39 Since I’ve Been Loving You 28:10 Rock and Roll 33:27 Stairway to Heaven 46:43 Going to California 53:16 That’s the Way 1:02:33 Tangerine 1:07:20 Dazed and Confused 1:35:41 What Is and What Should Never Be 1:41:12 Celebration Day 1:47:06 Whole Lotta Love 2:13:38 Weekend 2:17:37 Gallows Pole Bootleg: anonymous source mix
