Damon Hill drives his Dad’s race-winning Jaguar E-type

Damon Hill was just seven months old when his Dad, Graham, drove a Jaguar E-type to its maiden win at Oulton Park in 1961. Now, 60 years after that victory, Damon gets behind the wheel of that very same car for an evocative blast around Silverstone. “You can read the history books, and you can look at the fabulous pictures from back in the day, but I say the same thing every time I drive a car such as this: these things are time capsules, because they don’t change but we do,“ says Damon. “They capture a moment.
