Shih tzu puppy ’adopted’ by Siamese cat mother

07 August 2013 A puppy that was rejected by its mother has been adopted by a Siamese cat whose kittens were born on the same day. The shih tzu puppy, named Hope, will stay with the kittens until she is weaned at about six weeks old. Vet Lizzie Goldstraw, from Liverpool, said it was unusual for a cat to take a puppy on but “she’s fitted in perfectly“.
