Rare gig of Richie appearing in the bright afternoon sound at the annual Mayfair festival in Alltentown in 1998, at the B104 Listener Appreciation Concert at Union Park Terrace! There were two opening acts -- Jennifer Dragon and the Rembrandts, but while Richie’s set was short, he was in great voice. He took the stage a little after 2:00 pm, and did a mix of Undisovered Soul material and Jovi songs, all acoustic! This gig gives off a real nice summertime feeling and even though he just played about half an hour, it was a quality performance! Only two hours later, at 4:00 pm, he appeared at the K104 festival at Thunder Ridge Ski Mountain in Patterson, New York. The video was remastered from a really nice master tape, “fueling“ a lot of colours back into it and reworking the brightness and gamma levels since the afternoon sun swallowed quite a bit of detail.
