U.S. Senator Mike Lee (UT) denounced funding for Ukraine proxy war and Military Industrial Complex in 4-hour filibuster

U.S. Senator Mike Lee (UT) spoke against funding for the Ukraine proxy war, the Military Industrial Complex, inflation in the U.S., and legislation keeping the U.S. border open for illegals to freely enter the country, in a 4-hour filibuster on the Senate floor on February 10, 2024. (English) Lee was highly critical of U.S. funding for Ukraine’s war against Russia that doesn’t involve any national interest of the U.S., when the U.S. has critical domestic problems that include up to 10 million illegal aliens entering the U.S. in the last 3 years, crippling inflation that reduces the standard of living of middle and lower class Americans, escalating homelessness, etc. Lee emphasizes $113 billion dollars has been provided in support of Ukraine’s war. There has been no spending oversight of any money sent to Ukraine, which is one of the world’s most corrupt countries. And much of the money has stayed in the U.S. to provide financial support and profits for companies in the Military Industrial Complex. The things Lee said included: “Let someone tell me when Ukraine was accepted as the 51st state? I must have missed this day.“ and, “The United States has already poured a 12-digit sum into this corruption-stricken country (Ukraine)… What happens if we add another $55-60 billion? I’m giving you a hint: it won’t get any better.“ Video is on Senator Mike Lee’s Youtube page at,
