Broken German WW2 Lighter Restoration

Restoration of a very rare German lighter from World War 2. This lighter had been in the ground for over 70 years. Watch as I restore this 70 year old war relic into something awesome. I bought lot of old lighters from auction for restoration. The lighters are missing parts, have dents and some rust and oxidation. I’m sure I’ll be able to restore at least some of them. The lighter has 3 parts. The lighter itself, a tank for extra lighter fluid and a cap. I have no idea what the brand on it is. After getting the shell of the lighter back to orginal shape I sanded it flat because there is only so much you can do to dents on metal. The dents often stretch the metal so that I can’t be only hammered back to the orginal shape. I However I got it close enough to just sand off the tiny unevenness. This was important because mirror finish will reveal the slightest bumps. After sanding I polished it by wet sanding and polishing compound. This resulted to perfect mirror polish. I loaned one spa
