Pontiac Motor Divisiontan video

Hello to another car commercial of the past! Here we have a 1989 Pontiac Bonneville commercial, with some fitting music to accompany it. Lets get into details about the 1989 Bonneville shall we? (It’s mostly a Pontiac throwback week, so I apologize. There will be different car commercials coming very soon.) The Pontiac Bonneville was a full sized automobile produced by General Motor’s Pontiac division from 1958 to 2005. The 1989 Bonneville fell into the vehicle’s 8th generation, which lasted from 1987 to 1991. The base and sole engine for the 1989 Bonneville SSE was a performance refined, 3.8 Liter, Multi Port Fuel Injected, Buick V6, that produced 165 Horsepower at 210 LB-FT of Torque. This engine also featured a Balance Shaft, a feature for the engine that was not in before. The only drivetrain available was Front Wheel Drive. The only transmission available for the 1989 Bonneville was a 4 speed, Turbo Hydramatic, transversely mounted automatic transmission. The MSRP for the Bonneville SSE sport oriented trim level was $22,359 in 1989, which adjusted for inflation in 2015 is $37,590. A large sum to pay out for a domestic, American 4 door sport oriented sedan. If you were in the market for a full sized, domestic vehicle with a sleek exterior design and with some luxury, matched with a powerful V6 engine outputting a healthy amount of horsepower at a quite modest price in 1989, then the Pontiac Bonneville would have been the vehicle for you. There are many more old car commercials uploaded on my channel and many more to come, so check my channel often for more videos! (Disclosure: I do not own this old advertisement commercial as it belongs to the General Motors Automobile Corporation.)
