Odesa attacked by Russia in ’revenge strike’ over Kerch bridge explosion

Russia said it attacked Ukrainian ports last night in a “mass revenge strike” for allegedly blowing up the Kerch bridge in Crimea. The Russian army targeted Odesa to destroy “facilities where terrorist acts against Russia had been prepared using unmanned boats”. Ukrainian authorities said they had shot down drones and cruise missiles over the city, but falling debris damaged port facilities and nearby houses. Another port, Mykolaiv, was also attacked with Iranian-made “kamikaze” drones which the local mayor said caused a “serious” fire. Moscow claims that Ukraine’s security services yesterday attacked the Kerch bridge with maritime drones. Kyiv has not claimed credit for the incident.
