Mark Briscoe beautifully Eulogizes his Brother Jay - 1/29/23 - RIP Jay Briscoe

I don’t think I have ever been moved by any eulogy quite like this. No Pen, No Paper, No Prep and as Mark said he called no spots for this and just called in the ring. Straight from the heart. Nothing but real talk. I did not know the Briscoes. I am Just a long time fan from a far and I was grief stricken by Jay’s passing as if I did know him. Just as so many others like me. In some ways I want to believe that I did know him because anytime DemBoys showed up on my television. They were always welcomed guests in my home and brought me great joy. I still think it’s a shame that Jay never got the main stream exposure as his professional counter parts but the world will now. They will do so through Mark as he Carry’s the Briscoes Legacy. Especially when Mark one day becomes World Champion. Yes!!! World Champion. Not because of this tragedy, but on his own merit. His strength, His faith, His perseverance, His dedication, His natural entertainment value & most important his in ring skill. Mark Briscoe is that DAM GOOD and now a national audience is going to get to see it. Long Live #DemBoys and #Long Live Mark Briscoe and the entire Pugh Family. I hope nobody finds this posting disrespectful, but I am sorry The world needs to see the strength and inspirational words of Mark Briscoe. It just might help someone else who is in despair or questions their own faith & strength. Especially in the eyes of tragedy like this. This was so moving. Mark knew right when to deliver comedic timing when it all felt too heavy and then he just hit that room and all of us watching with just straight fire. He tore that house down and lifted everyone up. I walk away from this with a much different perspective on life, faith and strength. Bless your soul Mark Briscoe.
