Heavy floods fill the streets of Khasab, Oman 🇴🇲 November 30 2021 خصب سيول

Heavy flooding hit Khasab in Oman on November 30th 2021. Heavy thunderstorms caused floods throughout Oman, however flooding was particularly severe in coastal regions. Streets filled with water, making travel impossible. Houses were flooded, destroying possessions. Residents were forced to seek higher ground. The force of the water created waterfalls in nearby mountains, and caused landslides blocking roads. Residents were advised to not travel to rocky areas. Following the floods, streets were filled with debris. Authorities are assessing the damage caused, however warnings remain in place for further storms.
