Sir Robert Helpmann CBE (9 April 1909 -- 28 September 1986) was an Australian dancer, actor, theatre director and choreographer. In 1964 he was appointed a Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE). In 1965 he was named “Australian of the Year“, and in 1968 he was appointed a Knight Bachelor. Leonid Fyodorovich Myasin, better known in the West by the French transliteration as Léonide Massine (9 August [O.S. 28 July] 1896 -- 15 March 1979) was a Russian choreographer and ballet dancer. Inducted into the National Museum of Dance C.V. Whitney Hall of Fame in 2002.
