Intertitle - ’Mrs Clara. G. Ball - hailed as the ’world’s bravest woman’ - rescued after 22 hours in the sea.’ M/S of her leaning against the ship’s rail smiling. Intertitle - ’Captain William Carey, a true Briton, went down with his ship.’ Footage of the captain talking to another man on the deck of a ship. Intertitle - ’The grim harvest of the sea.’ L/S as rescue ship sails along. Various shots as the makeshift coffins of the victims are carried along by sailors and placed together on the ship, sailors salute as they are brought past.
