Time Lapse Photography (1965)

This story shows some stunning examples of time lapse photography from stormy skies to plants growing. Various L/Ss of clouds rushing over stormy skies at “hurricane speeds“. Extreme C/U - at high speed - of tomatoes growing and ripening. L/S (normal speed) of a long greenhouse. C/U of chrysanthemums. C/U of yellow flowers, tilt up to show rows of flowers growing the length of the greenhouse. M/S of a scientist placing a pot of flowers in front of a time lapse camera. C/U of the scientist looking through the camera lens, another scientist watches. M/S of the scientist measuring a length of tape with sprocket holes, he cuts it in a film splicing machine. The tape automatically operates the camera once every twenty minutes. Extreme C/U of the tape being placed in the gate of the camera. C/U of the camera being loaded. More shots of the tape being zig zagged through the machine. M/S of blinds being drawn over the outside of the greenhouse - ultra violet lights do the job more efficiently.
