Doña Rosa gives Darlene a special energy cleansing (limpia), hair cracking, and massage treatment full of tingly ASMR sounds. Rosa gently whispers soft words and creates soothing sounds as she gives Darlene a massage and pulls, brushes, and plays with her hair. Rosa also gives her a traditional treatment to relieve headaches called “hair cracking“ (in Spanish, “sacando los soles“).
